Description

Type 17 square flat head deck screw

Deck screws are bugle head or flat head screw with spaced threads, extra sharp point designed for joining pieces of pressure treated lumber. S-metal manufactures of corrosion-resistant stainless steel deck screw and superior corrosion resistance coated types. The type 17 cutting auger point allows for a cutting edge and chip cavity to extend from the point.

Material: steel AISI1018 or equivalent.

18-8 passivated stainless steel.

Finish: Dacrotized finish for steel.

Plain with passivation for 18-8 stainless steel.

Hardness: HV550-800 for steel.

Rockwell B85-95 for stainless steel.
