Hexagon head self tapping screw
Hexagon head self tapping screw is tapping screw with hex head design, which could bear bigger torque; it is standard type of wrench applied fastener which is recommended for general applications.
S-metal produces hexagon head self tapping screw for roofing fitting and fastening, meanwhile hex head tapping screw is assembled by hex wrench driver. are Normally hex head tapping screws are apply to roofing fitting and fastening.
Standards:ISO1479/DIN7976 ASME B18.6.3
Material:
*Carbon steel C1018-1022, alloy steel,harden.
*Stainless steel SUS201 SUS304(18-8),SUS316 and SUS410 etc .
Surface treatment:
*Zinc Galvanized/H.D.G/Dacromet etc.
Plain with passivation.
Surface hardness:
The minimum surface hardness after heat treament shall be 450HV.
Core hardness:
The core hardness shall be 270HV-370HV.
Application:
Apply to 0.015″ to 0.05″ thickness sheet metal fastening to metal,wood, plastic,fiberglass etc. material.
